...production complex 6+7, the approx. 24 m long wall surface interrupted by doors and windows has been designed. The core idea is to visualise the function of the adjacent production rooms behind the corridor wall. Essentially, this is the acoustics - the radio play that is produced in the studios. The idea of frequencies is painterly transported from the interior to the corridor area in the form of artistically freely designed movements. To emphasise the architecture of the corridor, the idea of a calm, large-scale form has been developed that stretches along the entire length of the corridor. The elongated oval is an ideally balanced and expressive form, corresponding to the swelling and subsiding sound volume. The generous wall drawing cancels out the heterogeneity of the wall surfaces interrupted by doors and visually unites the corridor ends. As the corridor surface can only ever be perceived from a foreshortened perspective, movement within the large form is absolutely essential. Different positions make the oval appear different. The character of the wall drawing changes in each individual section, depending on the density and height of the lines. In this way, the corridor changes its "sound" in a variety of ways.
